TBU Nursery School and Babysitting Room Opened
On Monday, 30 May 2011 the TBU Nursery School and Babysitting Room were officially opened. Many prominent personalities were present at the opening ceremony: Prof. Petr Sáha (TBU Rector), Ing. Michaela Šojdrová (Chairperson of the TBU Board of Governors), RNDr. Alexander Černý (TBU Bursar), other leading representatives of the University and its faculties, of the Municipal Authority in Zlín and of the Regional Office of the Zlín Region.
The Nursery School and the Babysitting Room opened on Wednesday, 1 June, on the Children’s Day. The Nursery School has one class for 24 children aged between 3 and 6 years. The babysitting room is intended for short-term babysitting of children up to three years of age, parents are required to book the babysitting service on the website of the Nursery School. The opening hours will be from 07:00 to 17:00.
The Nursery School and the Babysitting Room received funding within the European Operational Programme ‘Human Resources and Employment” (European Social Fund). Financial resources necessary for the refurbishment of the building to house the Nursery School and the Babysitting Room were provided by the University, that will run the school.
