Gala Night 2007
The Student Union in cooperation with the faculty and university authorities is organizing the first official awards to be given to students at Tomas Bata University in Zlín in the Assembly Hall on 7 March 2007.Everyone is cordially invited to come!
Categories:
I. Award in the category “Scientific and Research Activities“ – as the only among the awards to be received separately on behalf of each faculty. This award aims at presenting exceptional scientific and research activities done by students at Tomas Bata University.
II. Award in the category “Sporting Performance“ - an all-university award, to be given to one student to reward his/her exceptional sporting performance and university representation in sports.
III. Award in the category “Benefit to the University“ - an all-university award, to be handed out to that student whose work and activity has been of enormous benefit to the University.
IV. Award in the category “Promotion of Good University Reputation” - an all-university award, to be gained by a university student or a TBU graduate. This award is to be earned based upon the student’s/graduate’s unique activities during his/her studies gaining a positive publicity for the University on national as well as international level.
V. Award in the category “Foolish Act“ – an all-university award intended for a student/group of students to reward an unusual act done within the University. This award aims at drawing attention to another dimension of student life.
