Lecture: Interpreting in the EU

The Eurocentre in Zlín would like to invite you to attend the lecture “Interpreting in the European Union – an opportunity for everyone - European Masters in Conference Interpreting (EMCI)“. The lecture will be held in the Regional Authority Building (exposition on the 2^nd floor) at 10:00 on 7 March 2007. ADMISSION: FREE!

Mr. Roderick Jones, the lecturer in Zlín, is the Head of the Unit (Czech Interpretation) within the European Commission. He will speak about the job as an interpreter, about this job’s possibilities and conditions and about the European Masters in Conference Interpreting as well as the preparation for the inter-institutional examination which represents an essential prerequisite for interpreting in institutions.
