Mr. Vladimír Sedlařík, M.Sc., Ph.D. from the Polymer Centre at the Faculty of Technology has become the new Siemens Award winner coming from TBU in Zlín. In November he received the Siemens Award for his dissertation entitled Biodegradable Polymers Based on Dairy Waste.
Among previous Siemens Award winners from among TBU employees the following names are to be mentioned: Berenika Hausnerová, Assoc. Prof., Ph. D., M. Sc. (1999), Ivan Zelinka, Assoc. Prof., Ph. D., M. Sc. (2001) or Ivo Kuřitka, M. Sc. et M. Sc. (2005).
