Diploma Supplement Label awarded to TBU

Tomas Bata University in Zlín has been awarded the Diploma Supplement Label (a certificate issued by the European Commission) that is increasing the prestige of the University among European higher education institutions. The certificate is in effect during 3 academic years and is intended for those higher education institutions that provide their graduates with the Diploma Supplement. TBU is one of four higher education institutions in the Czech Republic receiving the Diploma Supplement Label this year (together with other universities e.g. from Austria, France, Denmark, Finland, Portugal and other European countries).
Since 2005 TBU has been providing all Bachelor’s Degree and follow-up Master’s Degree graduates with the Diploma Supplement free of charge. The Supplement involves information on the study programme completed (including the transcript of records and given assessment) and the description of the national tertiary education system. It is issued in two languages (English – Czech), printed on A3 size paper containing ground tint, the University hologram and stamp and signed by the Rector. The graduates’ future employers can get more information on the applicants’ qualification. Thus the Diploma Supplement increases the probability of success in the European labour market.
