Schools of photography meeting

An exhibition of photographs that will serve as a meeting of several schools of photography in the Czech Republic has been organized by the FMC's Studio of Advertising Photography to take place on 13^th and 14^th October 2006. The exhibition will inform the visitors about the main orientation of each school, its study programmes as well as with the results of the students’ work (Participants: e.g. Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí n. L., Institute of Creative Photography in Opava, Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava etc.).
Both professional photographers and the public will have a unique opportunity to get more information in particular about the work milieu, the study programme and the work made by students in the Studio of Advertising Photography at FMC of TBU in Zlín. Among the invited are students and teachers from the mentioned schools as well as theoreticians, gallery owners and other experts in photography as a medium. The event is a continuation of the traditional meeting of schools of photography, for the first time held in Opava in 2003, then in st n L. in 2004 and at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in 2005.
