Exhibition on Samuel Beckett

An exhibition on Samuel Beckett is planned to take place from 7^th to 13^th June 2006 in the foyer of the rectorate building in the Mostní Street. The touring exhibition instigated by the Irish government has been organized by the Embassy of Ireland in Prague in cooperation with the Centre for Irish Studies at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts of the Charles University on the occasion of an anniversary (100^th birthday) of Samuel Beckett, a playwright, novelist and a Nobel Laureate in literature.
It is a great honour for the Tomas Bata University in Zlín to be enabled to host an exhibition that has already been staged in Prague and Budapest and that is to be transferred from Zlín to Moscow and other European cities.
