Touring exhibition featuring Congress and University Centre

A touring exhibition entitled "University Centre in Zlín - Creating Architecture of 3rd Millenium" dedicated to the construction of the Congress and University Centre Zlín is on display in the premises of Centro Zlín - Malenovice (Carrefour), lasting until 13^th April 2006. Thus, the general public will be offered the opportunity of getting information on the project of the multifunctional building, intended to be built before the end of 2007, replacing the former Masaryk Schools and expected to become the architectural jewel of the regional capital. Afterwards the exhibition shall be presented in hypermarkets and department stores in other towns in the Czech Republic (Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Olomouc, Liberec, Carlsbad, Č. Budějovice, etc.)

The exhibition has been organized and staged by the Public Relations Department together with the Department of  Advertising Photography and Graphics and the Department of 3D Design of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications.

The exhibition involves computer visualisations of exteriors and interiors of the future complex, photos of existing university buildings (campus in Jižní Svah in Zlín in particular) and accompanying texts concerning the author of the project, Prof. Eva Jiřičná, a world-known architect and a native of Zlín.

The complex to be built shall hold a top level university library offering services of 450 study places available for an assumed number of more than seven thousand users.
