A lecture on European Parliament and European foreign policy given by doc. Ing. Josef Zieleniec, Member of the European Parliament and Member of the International Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, shall be held on 12^th April 2006 at 9:30 at the Tomas Bata University in Zlin, Mostni Street, in the room 0111. Immediately after the lecture a discussion will take place including the following topics:

• Is the European Union capable of protecting its citizens?
• Terror threat - international aspects
• Current issues of the European policy (European funds - finance allocation, controversy over the European Constitution etc.)
