Russian pedagogues are interested in giving lectures in Zlín
A delegation from our university, led by the Rector prof. Petr Sáha, has succeeded in establishing promising contacts with a Russian university in St. Peterburg. The local university has an age-old tradition (it was founded by Peter the Great). It is interesting that six Nobel prize-winners worked here. At St. Peterburg University, the TBU representatives held negotiations on possibilities of cooperation with local professors in the field of philology and at the Academy of Science, they discussed possibilities of cooperation in sciences and possibilities of talented students from Russian universities to study in doctoral and post-doctoral degree study programmes at out university. Results from negotiations came very soon. “We have already received several job applications from Russian pedagogues. Also Russian students started to enrol in studies,“ prof. Sáha said.
