Repair and Redevelopment of TBU Buildings

Tomas Bata University in Zlín invests money into the repair and redevelopment of its buildings.

Major redevelopment was necessary in the building situated at the address tř. T. Bati; the building was purchased from the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague last year. An outdoor sports ground is under construction at the Jižní Svahy campus. Sanitary facilities in the building in Mostní Street are under repair; windows are being replaced in the Residence Hall in Antonínova Street. Before the start of September, illuminated signs will be installed on the TBU building situated at the Jižní Svahy campus and on the building of the Štefánikova Residence Hall.
The biggest investment project currently implemented by the University is the construction of the Laboratory Centre of the Faculty of Technology. The building is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2013.
