Chinese Course to Be Launched in September

In September 2012 Tomas Bata University will launch a new Chinese course.

Chinese is the most used language in the world and one of the six official languages of the United Nations; every sixth person on earth speaks some variety of Chinese as their native language. The number of business relations between the Czech Republic and China grows every year, many employers prefer job applicants with a good knowledge of Chinese.

The course will run for three months – from the start of the winter semester to December 2012. Classes will be held in English and given by Ms. Yiying Guo, a graduate from Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language at Shandong University (China). Afterwards, TBU will assess the implementation of the course and, depending on the results, offer the classes also to interested persons from the business sphere.
